Reading
These two boys have entered a contest in Manila, the capital of the Philippines. To win a prize they must roll a coin from their forehead to their mouth. This is not easy because the boys must pay attention and keep perfect balance. All of the boys who entered this contest practiced their techniques for many months at home. In fact, only one boy was able to roll his coin to his mouth without dropping it. He won a prize of 20 pesos (67 yen). The Philippines is not a rich country, and many families hardly have enough money to feed their children. As a result, many children turn to crime and steal money. This kind of contest is effective in giving such children something fun and useful to do in their free time.
